The National Stud’s breeding syndicates provide you with the opportunity to experience thoroughbred breeding and ownership with unparalleled access and insight. Pedigree analysis, young stock development and bloodstock sales are just some of the areas members can expect to be involved in. Each syndicate will be complemented by regular social events and stud visits for the ultimate shared owner experience.
Breeders Club
The NSL Breeders Club will purchase two mares at the upcoming Breeding Stock sales with a focus on in-foal mares. Members will be kept fully up to date throughout the selection process and visit the farm to meet their new purchases. At that time mating plans will also be discussed. Each mare will be put in foal with future progeny being targeted at yearling sales unless an earlier sale is commercially optimal.
Pricing for a 1% share is £1,850 (includes the purchase of both mares and all associated costs, 2025 covering fee and first year’s keep) with £750 per year each year thereafter.

Pinhooking
Each year the National Stud purchase up to three foals to re-offer as yearlings. Follow their growth and development throughout the year with regular updates and experience first-hand the excitement of selling youngstock at auction.
